The Pearland ISD Gifted & Talented Academy is a full-time school within a school located at Sablatura Middle School and Pearland Junior High West designed to serve gifted students in 5th-8th grade. The Academy provides students with unique learning opportunities that challenge and develop the academic abilities of gifted learners alongside their intellectual peers while nurturing their social and emotional needs.
GT Academy Enrollment:
The Pearland ISD Gifted and Talented Academy is a program of choice available to students identified gifted in Pearland ISD who currently reside in the Pearland ISD attendance zone. Starting with the 2024-2025 incoming classes, Pearland ISD made the decision to limit GT Academy enrollment.
The GT Academy Interest Form will be available to all 4th grade students identified gifted through the parent Skyward account starting October 1, 2024. The deadline to submit the GT Academy Interest Form is October 25, 2024. A lottery will be held to determine enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year.
The GT Academy Interest Form will be available in Skyward for current 5th, 6th & 7th grade students identified gifted in Pearland ISD January 2025. The deadline for current 5th, 6th and 7th grade students to submit the GT Academy Interest Form is February 1, 2025.
